Expression · Destiny · from your full birth name
Who your name says you're becoming.
Your birth date is who you arrived as. Your full name is who you're growing into. Type the name you were given at birth — first and last, the way it reads on the certificate.

What the Expression number actually is
Think of it as the blueprint you were handed at birth, written into your name. Your Life Path (from your birth date) is the road you're walking. Your Expression is what you brought for the walk — the talents, the instincts, the way you're wired to get things done. It's the number people mean when they ask "what am I here to do?"
Here's the math, no mystery
Each letter has a number, one through nine, on a repeating chart (A=1, B=2, and so on, wrapping back around at I). Take your whole birth name, turn every letter into its number, add them all up, and reduce the total to a single digit. The only exception: if you hit 11, 22 or 33 along the way, those stay whole — they're the master numbers, and they carry extra voltage.
Two numbers hide inside it
Your name holds more than the Expression. The Soul Urge number lives in the vowels — what your heart quietly wants. The Personality number lives in the consonants — the version of you strangers meet first. The calculator above shows all three, and each has its own page if you want to go deeper.
Cornerstone and Capstone
Two smaller numbers live at the very edges of your name: your Cornerstone — the value of the very first letter of your first name, the instinct you lead with — and your Capstone — the value of the last letter of your last name, how you tend to finish things. No reduction here; it's just the raw value of one letter each, no maths beyond the Pythagorean chart. The calculator above shows both.
